QUALIFIED TOOLMAKER

 

We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with preferred experience with CNC machining, but not essential as training will be provided.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITEIS:

  • Machine high quality precision tooling parts according to engineering drawings provided
  • Ensuring all specification/tolerances are met on all tooling parts manufactured
  • Programme set up and operate CNC machines
  • Ensure that work completed consistently meets design specification and highest engineering and quality standards.
  • Continuously improving efficiency when manufacturing parts
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of toolroom equipment
  • Maintain toolroom cleanliness

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully qualified toolmaker
  • Ability to take ownership of one’s own work and self-manage schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings for tool assembly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to operate toolroom equipment – lathes, mills, surface grinders
  • EDM & CNC machining advantageous but not essential

SALARY:

Negotiable/depending on experience

Top rates of pay will be offered to suitable candidate.

SCHEDULE:

Full time permanent

Monday-Friday
